This is what TMZ initially reported after an altercation involving the cops broke out at the Jackson compound in Calabasas. After watching the video, I am puzzled as to why Janet & Randy were recording Paris on their phones though?
The unedited full video of what turned into a confrontation at the Jackson family compound Monday in Calabasas, CA.
It starts out friendly enough, with MJ’s kids Paris and Prince getting out of their SUV and shaking hands and hugging a few of Michael’s siblings who arrived in the SUV behind them.
But moments later, things turned ugly.
The footage shows Janet confronting MJ’s daughter Paris … and during the standoff, Janet swipes for Paris’ cell phone twice.
Paris charges past Janet … and when Janet attempts to go after Paris, Janet is restrained by her brother Randy.
Randy and Janet proceed to hold up their cell phones and record Paris.
After the video ends, there was a physical altercation at the home between two family members. Cops arrived to the scene and took a battery report.
According to the MJ Estate, Michael’s children have since been moved away from the home and into a secure location.
The Prince took to Twitter & tweeted a screen shot of a text he sent to his Aunts & Uncle. Did Janet not think that he wouldn’t see her reply?
Michael Jackson‘s eldest child is putting his relatives on blast — particularly Janet Jackson — by posting what he claims is an angry group text message convo about his grandmother Katherine Jackson.
Katherine returned from Arizona late last night, but a few hours later Prince Jackson sent out a tweet that included the text message, dated July 23rd (Monday). In it Prince says, “This is enough so I am texting you for the simple fact that WE DEMAND TO SPEAK TO MY GRANDMA NOW!!!“
A reply from “Janet Jackson” reads … “Don’t let them pls.” It appears the message continued, but Prince did not post the rest of it.
In his tweet Prince also says, “Although I am happy my grandma was returned, after speaking with her I realized how misguided and how badly she was lied to. I’m really angry and hurt.”
He continues, “For this whole time, they denied us contact to our grandmother. If you continue with your lies I will continue with the truth.”
Prince added a reference to his father — “As long as I can remember my dad had repeatedly warned me of certain people and their ways.” (source TMZ)
And this morning Katherine Jackson had agreed to file a petition for joint guardianship with her grandson TH “Tito Jo”, however as of this afternoon TJ is supposed to file the petition to have sole guardianship over the kids. I for one don’t think it’s our business, I just think it is sad that this family has always had issues. You would think after losing Michael, the vicious cycle would break.
Katherine Jackson says she’s had a change of heart … and is now ready to SPLIT guardianship of MJ’s 3 children with her grandson TJ.
Katherine’s attorney, Perry Sanders, tells TMZ … TJ and Katherine will file a request for JOINT GUARDIANSHIP with the court early next week … and they expect it will be approved.
Perry tells us, “That pleading will essentially now legally reflect how Mrs. Jackson and TJ have often shared responsibilities of raising the children since Michael Jackson‘s tragic passing.”
Katherine’s lawyer says the new arrangement “reflected the wishes of [Michael Jackson's] children” … Paris, Prince and Blanket.
If the court grants the joint request, Katherine’s lawyer says TJ will be able to assume a lot of the day-to-day responsibilities that have been stressing Katherine out … including management of household personnel and security.
“It will also make clear for school personnel and anyone else coming into contact with the children that TJ is authorized to act on their behalf,” Perry tells TMZ.
“Mrs. Jackson will then be freed up to focus on the more personal everyday decision making related to the lives and activities of the children.”
Katherine’s lawyer says the agreement would still empower Katherine to CONTROL THE FAMILY’S ALLOWANCE … which is $70k per month.
The arrangement also seems to make TJ a shoo-in to become the SOLE guardian of the children if Katherine dies while they are still minors.
Katherine’s lawyer concludes, “Mrs. Jackson is extremely pleased with the prospect of enjoying the pleasure of raising Michael’s children without the day-to-day tedium of items such as managing the large staff that goes with such a high profile family and focus her attention on being a grandmother and raising Michael’s children.”
Perry tells us … TJ will file a petition to become the sole permanent guardian later today … but that’s just a formality because of a court imposed deadline. The joint petition will TRUMP that filing. (source TMZ)

I really hope that Conrad is convicted, I understand that MJ was a sick MAN but I strongly believe it wasn’t his time to GO when he DID!!! The MANSLAUGHTER TRIAL began today.
Here is a timeline of what has transpired since his death, courtesy of LA Times:
Michael Jackson’s personal physician compromised his professional responsibility to keep his lucrative position, a prosecutor told jurors Tuesday at the doctor’s involuntary manslaughter trial.
The voice of a heavily drugged, rambling Michael Jackson echoed through the courtroom during opening arguments Tuesday in the trial of his personal doctor.
Deputy Dist. Atty. David Walgren kicked off what’s expected to be an hour-long address to jurors by saying, “Michael Jackson literally put his life in the hands of Conrad Murray.”
Opening statements are scheduled to begin Tuesday morning in the highly anticipated trial of Michael Jackson’s personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray.
The singer may have injected or drunk the lethal dose of propofol, attorneys for Dr. Conrad Murray have suggested. Pointing the finger at Jackson could be a risky move, experts say.
Kenny Ortega, who choreographed “Dirty Dancing” and “High School Musical,” will be the first witness to take the stand at the trial of Michael Jackson’s doctor, a prosecutor said Monday.
Lawyers for Dr. Conrad Murray had argued that the footage showed Jackson “under the influence” in public three months before his death and addressed other matters at issue.
Seven men and five women will weigh the manslaughter case against Dr. Conrad Murray, including one juror who had a brief encounter with the pop star.
Michael Jackson’s estate plans to distribute $30 million to the pop star’s mother, Katherine Jackson, his three children and unnamed charities, court documents show.
Attorneys queried nearly 150 prospective jurors about whether they previously followed any high-profile legal cases.
I don’t know how I feel about this, they are children. I am sure they are traumatized & want justice along with everyone else. Given it is very BRAVE of them, I am still on the fence about this. I don’t think I would allow my child to testify, I would be afraid of what emotions it may or may not bring out. How do you feel about it? Do you think it’s a smart move?
Michael Jackson‘s two eldest children, Prince Michael and Paris, have told their grandmother Katherine they want to testify in the manslaughter trial of the doctor accused of killing the pop superstar with an overdose of a powerful anesthetic, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
A Jackson family insider said: “Katherine is resisting the move, because she knows how traumatic it would be for them, but both Prince Michael and Paris have said they want to tell the jury what they saw on the day their father died.”
RadarOnline.com has learned the King of Pop’s sister LaToya has privately declared her support of the children’s stance to take the witness stand against Dr. Conrad Murray.
Murray is charged with involuntary manslaughter in the Thriller singer’s death on June 25, 2009, at age 50.
“Both LaToya and Katherine agree, however, that Blanket should not testify as he is too young,” the source said.
Prince and Paris are determined to take the stand, though. Ultimately, I don’t believe Katherine will deny them that chance, even though she doesn’t want them to and has told them so. The kids have said they don’t want their father’s legacy to be tarnished by the trial and they believe their evidence will help convict Doctor Murray.
“LaToya has said it would be good for the children to, ‘Get what is inside them, out of them.’ She feels it is a way for them to release the hurt. Above all though, she believes her brother was murdered and what Prince Michael and Paris could tell the jury, would inevitably help convict the doctor.”
A second source close to the legal proceedings confirmed to RadarOnline.com they too had been told Prince Michael and Paris wanted to testify, but predicted only one of them would be called — and only if “things were going bad” in the trial for prosecutors.
Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket were all included on a potential witness list passed out to the jurors in an attempt to ascertain their familiarity with the family. Also listed were siblings Janet, LaToya, Jermaine, Marlon, Rebbie, Tito and Randy as well as parents Katherine and Joe Jackson.
If the teenage star witnesses were called, it could be problematic for prosecutors, who have said Murray caused Jackson’s death by giving him the powerful anesthetic propofol as a sleep aid at the singer’s Los Angeles mansion and not properly monitoring him.
As the source close to the Jackson clan has said: “Prince and Paris adored Doctor Murray and thought he was a God send for their father. It was only after their father’s death that they formed a subsequent opinion of him. Both Prince and Paris could take the stand and wind up providing evidence which supports the doctor.”
Another source familiar with the inner workings of the legal case said the children could be cross examined about whether their father had long-standing drug addictions.
That source said: “After saying goodbye to her dad at the hospital, Paris is said to have remarked, ‘My daddy is so cold again. He was always cold. He would sit by the fire to get warm. We were always afraid he would fall in as he was so close to the flames. He couldn’t get warm. Now there he is… so cold.”
“Prince and Paris knew their dad relied on Dr. Murray to survive and knew their father adored him. Their comments could save him from jail because it would work well in the eyes of a jury.”
The Jackson family insider said Prince Michael, if he testifies, would tell court how he walked into his father’s bedroom in the middle of his doctor’s doomed attempts to revive him.
Murray has insisted Prince Michael and Paris were bundled from the room after the star’s daughter burst into tears and screamed ‘Daddy’.
Murray — who was hired as the late singer’s personal doctor to assist Jackson in preparing for a series of planned comeback concerts in London — has pled not guilty to involuntary manslaughter.
Opening statements are scheduled to begin Tuesday before Judge Michael Pastor in Los Angeles Superior Court. A jury of seven men and five women was selected last week.
